为满足国际社会对日益增长的中文教育类人才的需求， 促进世界各国中文教育的发展，助力国际中文教育人才的成长，教育部中外语言交流合作中心（以下简称中心）设立国际中文教师奖学金（以下简称奖学金），聚焦培养合格的海外中文教师。孔子学院、独立设置的孔子课堂，部分中文考试考点，外国相关教育机构、高校中文师范专业/中文院系、国外有关中文教学行业组织、中国驻外使（领）馆等（以下简称推荐机构）可推荐优秀学生和在职中文教师到华侨大学学习和进修国际中文教育专业。
一、资助对象
1. 非中国籍人士；
2. 对华友好，无违法犯罪记录，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度；
3. 身心健康，品学兼优；
4. 有志于从事中文教育、教学及相关工作；
5. 年龄为18-35周岁（统一以2026年 9月1日计）。在职中文教师放宽至 45周岁。
二、申请条件
国际中文教育专业硕士研究生
2026年9月入学，学制3年，资助期限为 2 年，第3年学校不收取学费、住宿费。
具有大学本科学历。中文水平考试成绩达到 HSK（五级）210分、HSKK（中级）60 分。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议或相关证明者优先。
三、奖学金资助内容及标准
奖学金资助内容包括：学费、住宿费、生活费和综合医疗保险费。其中，国际中文教育专业硕士研究生生活费标准为 3000元人民币/月。
四、办理流程
2026年3月1日起，申请者可登录中外语言交流合作中心网站（http://www.chinese.cn）国际中文教师奖学金板块申请国际中文教师奖学金。
1.登录网站（http://www.chinese.cn）注册账号，查询推荐机构。
2.填写申请表(接收院校选择“华侨大学”），并上传申请材料，点击“提交”。
3.返回查看申请信息，并关注申请进程、审核意见与奖学金评审结果。
4.申请者还须同时在华侨大学“港澳台侨及外国留学研究生报考系统”（https://hdyjs.hqu.edu.cn/recruit/login）进行注册，提交申请资料，完成学术审核，拿到拟录取资格。
5.奖学金获得者与华侨大学确认办理来华留学手续，在线打印获奖证书；按华侨大学录取通知书规定的时间入学报到。
五、截止日期（以北京时间为准）：
2026年9月入学：学生申请截止日期为5月15日，推荐机构、接收院校（华侨大学）审核截止日期为5月25日；
中心委托专家组集中评审：根据 HSK、HSKK考分和级别，兼顾国别等因素择优资助，于入学前约3个月完成奖学金评审工作，发布评审结果。
六、奖学金申请材料清单
（一）与所有申请者有关的证明材料
1.护照照片页扫描件。
2.HSK、HSKK 成绩报告（有效期两年）扫描件。
3.推荐机构负责人的推荐信。
（二）申请国际中文教育专业硕士研究生需要的证明材料
4.提供最高学历证明（毕业预期证明）和在校学习成绩单。
5.国际中文教育专业硕士须提供两名副教授以上职称导师的推荐信。提供毕业后拟任教机构工作协议者优先资助。
（三）在职中文教师须附上就职机构出具的在职证明和推荐信（同等条件下优先录取）。
（四）在各类汉语桥比赛中获得“国际中文教师奖学金证书”者，登录国际中文教师奖学金网站，凭奖学金证书向目标接收院校提交申请材料。
（五）近半年体检材料。
七、其他
1.相关专业培养方案与教学课程，可咨询华侨大学。
2.学历生须参加年度评审，详见《国际中文教师奖学金年度评审办法》。
3.相关入学等事宜，请及时联系华侨大学。
4.入学体检不合格、中途退学及未经许可不按时报到、休学等情况，取消奖学金资格。

Application Guidelines for International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship 2026, Huaqiao University
(Master’s Program)
To meet the growing international demand for professionals in Chinese language education, advance the development of Chinese language education worldwide and foster the growth of international Chinese language education talents, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of China(CLEC) has established the International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship), which focuses on cultivating qualified overseas Chinese language teachers. Confucius Institutes, independently Confucius Classrooms, selected HSK test centers, foreign educational institutions, Chinese normal universities/Chinese departments of foreign universities, relevant foreign professional organizations in Chinese language teaching, and Chinese embassies(consulates) abroad (hereinafter referred to as the Recommending Institutions) may recommend outstanding students and in-service Chinese language teachers to study and pursue advanced studies in International Chinese Language Education at Huaqiao University.
I. Eligibility
1. Be a Non-Chinese citizen;
2. Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China as well as the rules and regulations of Huaqiao University;
3. Be in good physical and mental health, be in good academic and behavioral standing;
4. Be interested in Chinese language education and related work;
5. Be aged between 18 and 35 years old (calculated as of September 1, 2026). The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45.
II. Application Requirements
Master’s Program in International Chinese Language Education
The program commences in September 2026. It’s a 3-year academic program, with a 2-year scholarship funding period. The university will waive tuition and accommodation fees for the third academic year.
Applicants shall hold a Bachelor’s degree. Applicants shall have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK Test (Level 5) and 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level). Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or proof to the same effect.
III. Coverage and Standard of the Scholarship
The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, living allowance and comprehensive medical insurance. For master’s students in International Chinese Language Education, the monthly living allowance is RMB 3,000 per person.
IV. Application Procedures
Online registration will be available from March 1, 2026 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website (http://www.chinese.cn).
1. Log in to the website (http://www.chinese.cn) to register an account and search for the Recommending Institutions.
2. Fill in the application form (select "Huaqiao University" as the receiving institution), upload application documents and click "Submit".
3. Check the application information, and keep track of the application progress, review comments and scholarship assessment results.
4. Applicants must also register on the Online Application System for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Overseas Chinese and International Postgraduate Students of Huaqiao University (https://hdyjs.hqu.edu.cn/recruit/login), submit application materials, complete academic review and obtain the pre-admission qualification.
5. Scholarship recipients shall confirm the procedures for studying in China with Huaqiao University, print the scholarship certificate online, and register for admission in accordance with the time specified in the admission notice of Huaqiao University.
V. Application Deadlines (Beijing Time)
For programs commencing in September, applicants must complete their applications by May 15. The Recommending Institutions and Huaqiao University must complete the review by May 25.
The CLEC will entrust an expert panel to review the applications. Decisions will be based on HSK and HSKK levels and scores, geographical distribution, and other factors. The results will be announced about three months before the program starts.
VI. List of Application Materials
(I) For all applicants
1. A scanned copy of the passport photo page;
2. A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK/HSKK tests (valid for two years);
3.A reference letter by the head of the Recommending Institution.
(II) Additional Documents for Master’s Program in International Chinese Language Education Applicants
4. A certificate of the highest diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official transcript;
5. Two letters of recommendation from supervisors with the professional title of associate professor or above. Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China.
(III) Additional Documents for In-service Chinese language teachers
A certificate of employment and a letter of recommendation issued by the current employer (priority admission will be given under the same conditions).
(IV) For Chinese Bridge Competition Winners
Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate in the Chinese Bridge competitions need to submit their application documents along with their scholarship certificates to Huaqiao University directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.
(V) General Physical Examination Report
Issued within the last six months.
VII. Other Provisions
1. For the training program and curriculum of relevant majors, applicants may consult Huaqiao University directly.
2. Degree-seeking students must participate in the annual scholarship review, the details of which can be found in the Annual Review Measures for the International Chinese Language Teacher Scholarship.
3. For matters related to admission, applicants shall contact Huaqiao University in a timely manner.
4. The scholarship qualification will be revoked if the applicant fails the admission physical examination, withdraws from school midway, fails to register on time without permission, or takes a leave of absence from school.
